Messages of Support from DOST Regional Directors
The DOST Regional Offices are in full support of the implementation of the Science for Change Program. The S4CP has initiated positive changes in the STI landscape in the regions and in the process have also stimulated the DOST ROs to pursue higher level S&T engagements in the regions, to take an active role in coordinating and charting the R&D priorities on the ground, and be champions for collaborations, complementation and cooperation to harness the STI opportunities for socio-economic growth and development –each region for the whole nation.
Message of support from NICER stakeholders
Given the challenge of integrating policies among government agencies,
the S4CP follows the whole-of-nation approach which optimizes the impact
of government funding and ensures the multiplier effect of its resources.
The S4CP provides an enabling platform where government, academe,
and industry in the country collectively pursue relevant and impactful
research for accelerated socio-economic development.
