The M&E Councils are the DOST agencies that review the project proposals and provide technical assistance and coordinate among different implementing and coordinating agencies. They evaluate the feasibility of the project/program and ensure that the efficient, timely and smooth implementation of approved projects and that set objectives and targets are attained. They conduct periodic field evaluation of the project to identify problems, solutions and remedial actions to avoid delays in the project implementation.
